The Process
A little bit of what I do and why you don't want to do it yourself.
Set Up
The first step is getting organized, I prep my work space, do a detailed cleaning on the bike, and then cut your wrap.
Installation
Once the bike is prepped, cleaned and ready, I start the install. It is a wet application where your spray the frame and each piece with water before laying it down, and then squeegee the water back out.
Clean Up
Once the wrap is installed, I ensure there are no pieces peeling up, then it's time to put the bike back together.
About Me
My Name is Brett McClure, I was born and raised in Overland Park KS, and I have lived in Summit County for 11 years now. My Wife Annie, our dog Kevin and I love to ride bikes, we have dedicated a large part of our lives to the sport and love being able to be a part of the community. I first started working on bikes at Norski Sports in Keystone back in 2014, from there I continued to learn about bikes and started building my own. In 2018 my wife and I moved to Wanaka NZ to chase summer for a year, I was employed at a bike shop down there called Racers Edge and this is where my knowledge and love for bikes got serious. Once I started buying and selling new bikes every year so I could try out the newest bikes on the market, I realized how important resale value was to me, so I started exploring frame protection options. I installed my first wrap in 2017 and have been hooked ever since. The way the wraps fit to the frame and the amount of protection the provide made me realize I would never ride another bike without wrapping it right out of the box. From there I started doing friends bikes as favors and quickly realized it was too time consuming to do for free, so I started charging, as I got better and better I decided to turn it into a business. After a successful first year in business I look forward to getting more bikes protected!
